You will serve as Supply Systems Analyst (Internal Auditor) in the Nuclear Reactors Supply Chain Management Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will analyze, develop, evaluate, and promote improvements in policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program. You will coordinate work with all supply and logistics personnel, agencies and stakeholders to support the unique requirements of the Nuclear Reactors Program. You will coordinate with customers, IT personnel managers and other stakeholders to oversee the implementation of actions involving new or revised requirements for applications, programs, and interfaces. You will develop design specifications, develops testing procedures, and analyzes data processing programs and systems that support supply and logistic areas. You will identify areas of inefficiencies or deficient performance of various activities involved in the supply and logistics support and implement or recommend changes designed to alleviate identified problems.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Confidential security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Providing life cycle support for supply and logistics systems, processes and interfaces including conducting studies of supply operations to determine proper use of current supply methods; 2) Providing technical advice to other analysts on supply operations; 3) Performing studies related to supply system specifications and design; and 4) Coordinating with customers and IT personnel to oversee the implementation of actions involving new or revised requirements for applications and interfaces.
