DCSA's Program Executive Office (PEO) is seeking a Program Executive Officer that will provide support and input to all matters relative to the coordination, integration and synchronization, of staff actions, events, and activities. This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience in office operations, objectives, and with disseminating administrative tasks and staff actions.

As a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-11 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Applicant must have specialized experience sufficient to independently review data determine project/program needs; manage resources; establish timelines, action plans, and metrics; and develop and manage appropriate projects to meet strategic objectives. Reviews and evaluates work products from organizational elements that respond to suspense dates, ensuring they contain cogent and complete information that is responsive to the incoming tasking. Incorporates interrelated products and responses into overall, comprehensive response for approval. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: Administrative and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production. Interpersonal Skills - Shows understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, cooperation, concern, and politeness to others; relates well to different people from varied backgrounds and different situations. Writing - Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a succinct and organized manner; produces written information, which may include technical material that is appropriate for the intended audience.
