About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army National Guard Readiness Center, HCM Operations Branch in Arlington, Virginia.
About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.
Duties
Provide specialized knowledge and expertise of Life Cycle Management in support of the Army’s personnel management and mission requirements.
Manage, evaluate, develop and institutionalize Life Cycle Management policies and efficiencies to provide the framework for a military force that will provide Army Combat readiness too all operational environments.
Analyze, develop and implement procedures to support Life Cycle Management actions which have a direct impact on the National Guard military manning across the National Guard enterprise.
Guide and coordinate information management studies and advise organizations with functions that are complex and extensively interrelated.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Identify and recommend solutions to critical problems affecting program goals and objectives; compose correspondence to clarify policy and process ineffectiveness/inefficiencies; review multiple business projects to streamline and improve task management; Integrate multiple project goals across the program to advise leadership on prioritization and task management.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
