You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Ship Maintenance and Materiel Readiness Directorate (N43) of the Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMNAVAIRPAC).
Duties
You will manage and oversee the respective Pacific/Atlantic Carrier Logistics Support Group services in support of the Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet N43.
You will provide analysis, problem resolution, technical assistance and specialized training to N43 staff and aircraft carrier maintenance personnel on Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) systems and programs.
You will coordinate and direct Maintenance Support Center (MSC) operation assessments and assist visits.
You will provide continual ILS support and problem resolution to sustain and/or improve ILS automated information systems programs, services and configuration data accuracy in support of efficient maintenance practices.
You will support aircraft carrier Maintenance Planning Managers (MPM) by reviewing Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) availability and Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMA) work packages for all hulls under the cognizance of this position.
You will review Carrier Availability Logistics Integration Coordinator (CALICo) ILS certifications to ensure the proper ILS elements are acquired.
You will ensure the Navy's Ships Configuration Logistics Support Information System (SCLSIS) is updated to reflect all configuration and logistics changes resulting from installations.
You will track the SCLSIS process to ensure proper logistics outfitting for configuration changes.
You will provide management and functional oversight to Maintenance Support Center (MSC) operations for respective aircraft carriers, including N43 staff Maintenance Information System Analysis support functions.
You will identify configuration, logistics and Maintenance Material Management (3M) support system problems via review of COMNAVAIRPAC MSC operations in accordance with current directives.
You will participate as the principal ILS representative in Management Team meetings, project team events and meetings for applicable aircraft carriers in or planning for continuous maintenance, Ships Construction Navy and CNO availabilities.
You will monitor shipboard Automated Shore Interface (ASI) processing to ensure the ships are building, downloading and processing files in accordance with current policies.
You will manage, monitor, and coordinate the execution of COMNAVAIRPAC shipboard ILS programs.
You will monitor the progress of activity Logistics Element Managers (LEM) and In-Service Engineering Activities (ISEAs) ILS outsourced to civilian and government agencies.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying logistics management principles to ensure proper logistics support for naval Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems or combat systems.
