You will serve as the Services Afloat Management Analyst in the Force Supply Department (N41) of the Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMNAVAIRPAC).
Duties
You will serve as the Management Analyst, Staff Advisor and Services Lead on matters relating to management and administration of Aircraft Carrier Services policy and processes.
You will develop and implement afloat Services Policy for the Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet and U.S. Atlantic Fleet.
You will develop new policy and program guidance and resolve problems in Services support operations and systems where the complexity is such that other personnel have been unable to develop solutions.
You will evaluate shipboard services operations, conduct equipment assessments and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality of life.
You will provide oversight and recommendations for Supply Department equipment modernization and replacement requirements.
You will analyze and evaluate policies, procedures, and functional systems as they relate to the total mission and impact of Food Service, Retail Operations, and Disbursing, along with Postal and MWR programs.
You will assess trends/problems which span several/all activities and recommends nature of review/study necessary to formulate policy, implement necessary changes, and evaluate results.
You will evaluate functional and management control in all Services processes that support sustainability and auditability policies and procedures for Food Service, Retail Operations, Postal, Disbursing and MWR programs.
You will collect and review findings and report and makes recommendations to senior leadership.
You will serve as a technical advisor on all matters pertaining to management and administration of non-appropriated fund (NAF) and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) activities.
You will conduct liaison with subordinate commands to provide assistance concerning the administration of non-appropriated fund resources.
You will coordinate with other staff divisions on fiscal, facility, personnel, legal, contracting, and other managerial aspects for issues which impact directly or indirectly on MWR program, policy, and procedures.
You will review and analyze financial data from NAF activities and check data for accuracy, justification and conformance with current policies.
You will assist in the development and execution of budget and funding plans, and equipment replacement programs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical and evaluative methods to evaluate shipboard services operations (e.g., food service, retail operations, disbursing and postal operations, or quality of life programs).
