Incumbent of this position serves as an Administrative Officer within the Eastern Service Area.
Duties
Incumbent uses some independence in planning time and assigning resources in accomplishing administrative functions. Collects, analyzes and assembles data from these various sources non-related sources and apply data to a wide range of situations. Each of the administrative programs carries with its own regulation, requirements, expected practices, demands, and fluctuating deadlines. All of this requires information gathering, interpretation of administrative records and reports; correlation of information and coordination with management representatives. He/she interprets guidelines and have some discretion in selecting approaches for assigned programs and interrelationships of such programs. Incumbent serves as a liaison between his or her District, field offices, Eastern Service Area and FAA Headquarters to accomplish assigned functions. Provides high level administrative support within the Eastern Service Area. Assists with various information request such as researching, collecting data, tracking assignments, identifying problems and general support to complete task. Receives guidance on selecting approaches from a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Provides Performance Management Support within the Eastern Service Area including the Performance Management System, awards programs, service recognition, and OSI SCI process. Explains and share information with the organization on the time and attendance procedures. Ensure CASTLE and LDR databases are up to date. Assists with the analysis and reports on data for the Labor Distribution Report (LDR). Coordinates response for various inquires in regard to personnel management functions such as pay, administration, leave and benefits, merit promotions program, employee positions actions, employee clearance procedures, new employee process requirements, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and general employment issues. As an individual contributor to the team, he/she may participate in meetings, conferences, or other sessions concerning the general overall management of assigned programs to gather information, explain regulations, and discuss customer's situation. Assist in developing reports, statements, and data of both a factual and analytical nature to support line managers. Provides support to other administrative programs as needed: travel, records management, etc. Work typically is reviewed frequently during assignments and at completion to ensure timeliness, policy compliance, and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-G level: you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. Education
Specialized experience may be substituted at the G band level for the education below:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related.
Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
Combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
