About the Position: The incumbent serves in a key staff position as the Administrative Officer for the Regulatory Division to assist and advise the Division Chief and line management in accomplishment of administrative duties.
Duties
Planning, policy development, implementation, coordination, and supervision of all administrative, budget, and business functions of the Division
Formulating and implementing policies and procedures for business and administrative records management, budgets, and control of funds.
Monitoring and distribution of costs, determining rates, and ensuring a minimal balance is maintained as required by regulation for various activities.
Reviewing, approving, and assisting in preparation of documentation for all requests for personnel actions and manpower requirements.
Extracting data from a variety of source materials to include, but not limited to reports, automated systems, regulatory, policy and guidelines, strength reports, personnel rosters, etc.
Manipulating data and maintaining a variety of personnel, manpower, purchase related databases and management information systems.

In order to qualify, you must meet the Specialized requirements described below. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes at least 2 of the following:
(1) performing administrative oversight for an office;
(2) creating and/or tracking personnel actions;
(3) experience assisting in creating and/or implementing a budget, or
(4)utilizing civilian human resources procedures.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
