Duties
Typical work assignments include:
Designing, developing, and promulgating division-wide policies, processes, and supplementary guidance on employee engagement programs and opportunities.
Leading the integration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility consideration in employee engagement programs, projects, policies, processes, and activities.
Representing division equities in agency-level employee engagement programs, projects and activities.
Applying knowledge of successful, measurable, outcome-oriented employee engagement programs, projects, activities, and initiatives designed to foster and enhance a sense of belonging, well-being and cohesion among employees in a hybrid work environment.
Designing, developing, and implementing employee engagement programs and initiatives that are specifically focused on the unique needs, interests, and equities of a cybersecurity workforce.
Leading research and developing recommended program enhancements, including outreach and education efforts in support of employee engagement.
Qualifications
To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying.
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as listed below.
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level, if you have:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties:
Developing and implementing successful, measurable, outcome-oriented employee engagement programs, projects, activities, and initiatives designed to foster and enhance a sense of belonging, well-being, and mission cohesion among employees in a hybrid work environment.
Using data to understand, assess, and analyze the effectiveness of employee engagement programs, projects, and activities in order to drive measurable improvements in employee engagement.
Advocating for the resources and attention necessary from organizational staff and leadership to effectively build and sustain employee engagement programs, projects, and activities.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
