Duties
You will review work orders, accompanying plans, specifications, blueprints, material lists and other work order supporting documentation.
You will initiate requests for support work and services required by other areas.
You will reschedule work delayed by weather, manpower and material shortages, high priorities, and emergencies.
You will maintain current status of work orders previously assigned to shop, in order to effect balanced work assignments with existing manpower availability.
You will maintain electronic master schedule, which reflects job orders currently in the schedule, those awaiting scheduling and those in progress.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- The incumbent must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain on-base driving privileges once obtained.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
Qualifications
(GS-05): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: clerical duties in reviewing work orders, inputting information in automated systems for compilation of schedules, and tracking and reporting work progress.
(GS-06): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: scheduling manpower requirements to support timely maintenance and repair operations.

Education
For the GS-05 Level: 4 years of education above the high school level.
