You will serve as a Production Controller (Aircraft) in the MRO Logistics Department, Fleet Readiness Center East of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will advise a production workforce on processes or procedures.
You will identify impediments to routine production for corrective action or adjustments to production schedules.
You will recommend changes to project requirements to eliminate delays in production or to reduce costs.
You will adjust workload to adapt to master work schedule changes.
Requirements
- This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Working knowledge of aircraft, engines, and components and the
production methods and procedures, machines, and material involved in the overhaul and repair of
modern weapon systems; 2) Coordinating efforts to keep the cost of labor and materials at a minimum while producing a high quality and highly reliable product; 3) Investigating, analyzing, planning, and implementing corrective action as well as establish effective cost controls for conventional production problems; 4) Reviewing the production process as it relates to Production Control, collects data, evaluating established trends, and making recommendations for procedure changes or modifications as required; 5) Administering on-the-job training to new employees and mentors lower graded PCs.
