You will serve as a Production Controller (Aircraft) in the Industrial Production Activity Control Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will discuss assignments with others to accomplish production work-related activities.
You will investigate causes for production delays and stoppages and recommend solutions to alleviate production operational problems.
You will create or modify spreadsheets and databases to assist in the planning, tracking, and completion of maintenance requirements for unrestricted operations inspections.
You will advise competency managers of resource constraints for projected workload.
You will coordinate the job scheduling, materials, and tools to confirm that products (e.g., aircraft products, engines) are worked within established time frames.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Apply production control methods, techniques, practices, procedures and operations to the production of aircraft; 2) Utilize computer systems to store, interpret, and retrieve production process information; 3) Utilize production control techniques to control back robbing and cannibalization to alleviate bit and piece parts and material shortages; 4) Recommend adjustments to resolve production scheduling problems and expedite production completion deadlines; 5) Provide training and assistance to lower-level controllers as assigned or needed; 6) Investigate causes for production delays and stoppages; and 7) Recommend solutions to alleviate production operational problems.
