The Division of Administration (DA) directs the innovative internal management of the Commission’s business, personnel, financial, technological, security, and strategic operational resources. This position is located in the Financial Management Branch in the Division of Administration within the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC or Commission).

Qualifications

CT-13 Level: To qualify for the CT-13 level you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS/CT-12 level).  Specialized experience is defined that through which one has gained experience: Preparing financial analyses to support the budget estimation process; Completing budget schedules and worksheets; Reviewing budget submissions for reasonableness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and guidelines; Experience projecting, monitoring and controlling the expenditure of funds for personnel and contracting purposes, and assisting with the resolution of conflicts; Analyzing and interpreting OMB directives and circulars, guidance from OPM, GAO, and/or Congress on the budget and recommend adjustments to budget allocations or reprogramming of funds as needed.

Education

Education is not required, nor may it be used as substitution for experience.
