You will serve as a WAR GAME ADJUDICATION ANALYST in the N7 TRAINING, EXERCISES, AND WARGAMING DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER.
Duties
You will provide planning, analysis, exercise control and adjudication support for Strike Group 360 tactical level war games, as well as other war gaming and simulation-based analysis efforts in support of NWDC lines of operation.
You will evaluate war game plans and proposals initiated within NWDC and by external commands
You will develop a clear understanding of significant issues, requirements, and required products as well as realistic milestones for simulation and war gaming support requirements; to include preparation, execution, and analysis.
You will develop Strike Group war game products, and after-action analysis.
You will be responsible for reviewing a large volume of diverse, complex and information to produce war game materials, adjudicate war game moves and build/present briefings to designated Strike Group commanders, other staff members.
You will develop and support war game design activities to include identifying focus areas to be incorporated in the war game scenario, customizing game flow and adjudication procedures.
You will establish war game website pages on command portals and identify the requisite points of contact (POC’s) to develop and execute war games and follow-on analysis reports.
You will create war game schedules of events and a plan of action, and milestones based on war game handbooks, or other guidance provided.
You will develop war game scenarios, road-to-crisis documents, friendly order of battle (OOB), joint/allied weapons capabilities, performance parameters, and probabilities of engagement and kill, to support designated war games.
You will develop move templates, adjudication procedures and updates required databases.
You will coordinate with Strike Group personnel and conduct game move analysis and adjudication as compelled by the war game.
You will provide final game analysis and adjudication results and evaluate of the game objectives at the Action Officer and Executive level out-briefs or debriefs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
To qualify for the WAR GAVE ADJUDICATION ANALYST, GS 0301-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with and a demonstrated mastery and skill in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program for the validation, planning, design, and execution of war game scenarios through the use of automated computer systems and model programs.
Experience with and knowledge of naval operations and tactics, and expertise in Navy surface, air, and subsurface weapons system capabilities and tactics.
Experience selecting features to be incorporated in war game scenarios, customizing game flow, and adjudication procedures.
Experience in the planning, organizing, and direction of team project work and the ability to interact effectively with management when making proposals or recommendations of significance.
Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) procurement procedures in order to develop statements of work for assigned projects.
Experience with and thorough knowledge of war gaming at the operational and tactical levels of war, military command structure, mission, programs, and organizational relationships.
Experience with and comprehensive knowledge of naval war gaming design methodology involving state of the art naval warfare simulation systems and distributed applications.
