You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFFICER in the RLSO NDW WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will serve as the Administrative Department Head and principal assistant of the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer.
You will serve as the primary customer service link between the command personnel located throughout the Command’s AOR and the servicing Personnel Support Detachment (PSD).
You will oversee and manages all military documents including but not limited to receipt, examination, and timely transmission of documents and information between command members and the PSD.
You will be responsible for completing, processing, maintaining, and mailing Fitness Reports, Counseling Record and Chief Evaluations, and Evaluations.
You will screen incoming correspondence and determines which action office should prepare the response.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1) Identifying and analyzing problems; weighing relevance and accuracy of information; seeking/generating and evaluating alternative perspectives/solutions; making timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions;
2) Evaluating and identifying the causes of problems, and choosing courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders;
3) Selecting, acquiring, storing, or distributing an organization's resources in the most efficient way possible. Such resources may include materials, equipment, financial resources, inventory, human skills, production resources, or information technology (IT);
4) Preparing, receiving, reviewing, and verifying documents; maintaining office records; locating and compiling data or information from files; compiling information for reports; keeping a calendar and informing others of deadlines and other important dates; and similar clerical support work within an organization.

Education
Education Substitution for Experience at the GS-11 Level:
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled.
