You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Staffing Department of OCHR NORFOLK OPERATIONS CENTER.

Duties

You will develop and/or implement a Data Integrity/Quality Control Program for a wide variety of human resources (HR) products and services. You will perform evaluation or technical work requiring intense research or analysis for a full range of personnel actions and determining unusual pay entitlements. You will work weekly pay error reports (e.g. PayNew, Quality Control (QC) audits, and pay resolution tickets (PRT's). You will ensure pay issues are resolved in a timely manner and will serve as liaison with Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) You will plan quality checks and controls and/or conduct audits to evaluate data quality and develop standard operating procedures/job aids, and training courses as necessary.

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting research and data analysis of human resources products and services to identify and correct issues and/or to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
