About the Position: This position is located at Joint Base San Antonio in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Coach and oversee healthcare administrators. Provide health system expertise on health care programs and policies. Analyze administrative and clinical delivery systems to develop strategic focus for management team decisions. Develop, establish, and monitor business initiatives and strategic business plans. Provide technical and administrative oversight for clinical administrators and Service Line Business Directors related to Access to Care operations. Prepare reports and proposals for submission to all levels including, but not limited to, Defense Health Agency (DHA), and Department of Defense (DOD).

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
