About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Program Analyst at the Resources and Analysis Directorate-Financial Management and Comptroller Division in Miami, FL.
Duties
Allocate financial resources to support the organization's mission.
Align budgetary resources with the organization's missions to validate proper allocation.
Administer the allocation of program or project resources to handle changing priorities.
Evaluate organizational procedures to determine efficiency and effectiveness of the quality of work.
Analyze management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 USC, section 1599d.
- Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
- This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position.
- Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1). Conduct analyses regarding program operations to strategically forecast upcoming missions, 2). Ensure proper allocation of funding requirements are met in accordance with regulatory guidance, and 3). Generate budgetary data reports derived from financial management systems regarding status of funds for presentation during meetings with management.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
