About the Position: Serves as an Administrative Support Specialist for Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) performing and advising on a variety of administrative services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the Activity.
Duties
Responsible for Protocol for Crane Army Ammunition Activity events
Coordinate and ensures procedures meet office needs and are consistently understood and followed.
Independently develop, initiate, review, and analyze administrative policies and procedures for implementation throughout the Activity
Advise staff and ensures understanding of administrative and procedural requirements.
Represent the Command in meetings, conferences, and committees dealing with matters of administrative policies, procedures, and practices.
Receive visitors and screens phone calls for Activity leadership, determines the identity of callers and nature of calls, and directs them to appropriate staff or directly provides information.
Requirements
- Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required less than 25% of the time.
- Must obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/o experience requirements described below. General Experiences: Three years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to the NH-01 grade level, which includes: screen visitors and phone calls to direct to appropriate area of the organization. Prepare travel orders for staff using automated travel system. Track local personnel accountability for organization. Maintain electronic and hard copy files for the organization.

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
