About the Position: This position is located with the USA Meddac Army Health Clinic Human Recourses Division at FT. Jackson, SC.

Duties

Performs a variety of administrative duties for organization. Monitors awards program for the organization. Utilize comprehensive knowledge to update Human Resources (HR) Information systems. Maintains awards database. Tracks evaluations due dates.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Processing human resources personnel actions, administrative management function, awards, and evaluations; (2) Researching the appropriate procedures to perform a full range of support activities (3) Review actions to ensure timely processing. (4) Utilizing personnel databases, computers, and software programs to complete administrative tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Selective Placement Factor: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
