About the Position: This position is located at Fort Jackscon, SC.
Duties
Serves as Lead Human Resources Assistant in accomplishing the work of the Military Personnel Division (MPD).
Maintains and ensures security of sensitive documents and files, i.e., Military Personnel Files.
Audits accuracy of documents, eligibility of Soldiers under various programs, file maintenance discipline, data-base input accuracy, and team systemic approach for mission completion
Performs a wide variety of tasks pertaining to Military Personnel Service Support (PSS) coverage areas of In/Out Processing, Transition Processing, Soldier Readiness Processing.
Distributes and balances the workload among employees for the organization.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: applying Military Human Resources rules, procedures and processes to perform military personnel management functions; Analyzing personnel records to determine eligibilities for an organization; assisting to military members on personnel matters and utilizing human resources automated systems to input and retrieve data concerning Military personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
