You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate the various departmental programs. You will collect, review, evaluate, analyze, and categorize Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports data. You will instruct and advise all levels of workers and management in program requirements. You will establish and maintain liaison with shops, Shop Superintendents, Process Managers, Resources Managers, Engineers, and Codes to ensure effective and efficient coordination and compliance with established program requirements.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11 Grade level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives and identifying trends and indicators of non-compliance or problem areas with established programs. GS-09 Grade level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector gathering data to collaborate with senior analysts in analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-11 Grade level:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a such a degree
OR
