You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Logistics Department, Maintenance Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIVin support of AIRWorks.
Duties
You will assist in the development of program Statement of Work (SOW) and Contractor Data Requirements List items in support of the respective SOW/s.
You will assess OEM maintenance support concept and provide feedback as well as recommendation to enhance or call out shortfalls in approach to sustaining the systems
You will implement the program’s product support and maintenance strategy for the program to achieve the program goals and objectives while minimizing the life cycle cost.
You will evaluate Supportability Analysis, including Integrated Logistics Support Trade Studies, Use Studies, Baseline Comparative Study, Maintenance Task Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, and Condition Based Maintenance.
You will ensure the programs Technical Data Packages are reviewed for accuracy and proper content.
You will develop the Program Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), provide updates as required and conduct annual reviews.
You will maintain Logistics Requirements and Funding Summary (LRFS), provide input to the Project Leads and respective BFM.
You will review Configuration Management documents, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and develop the technical evaluation to ensure the alignment of required logistic elements to support upgrade

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Logistics experience particularly in the area of Logistics Integration; 2) Ability to identify readiness issues, perform evaluation and risk analysis, provide recommendations and decision processes to address current and future sustainment and acquisition strategies; 3) Contracting Officers Representative qualified with previous COR experience, contract management and budget planning; 4) Ability to communicate effectively up and down the chain of command; 5) Resolution and problem solving; 6) Must be able to obtain Advanced LCL Certification within 36 months..
