You will serve as a JOINT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST in the GLOBAL FORCE MANAGEMENT DIV of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as user liaison with USFF staff to ensure that JOPES effectively supports planning and execution requirements.
You will provide oversight to echelon III and below commands’ deployment personnel in order to ensure accurate and timely deployment data is entered into the joint deployment system supporting world-wide force movements.
You will execute the creation, collection/collation and maintenance of JOPES databases (Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD)) for USFF in support of deployment of forces for operations and contingencies.
You will serve as point of contact within USFF to include the staff and subordinate commands on JOPES functionality and interoperability with related systems.
You will develop plans, policies, and directives to manage the planning/deployment system information requirements of USFF.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Performance of duty requires access to SIPRNET, NIPRNET and GCCS capable computers.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience executing the creation, collection/collation and maintenance of JOPES database Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) for Chief of Naval Operations, U.S. Fleet Forces Command and Joint Force Maritime Component Command.
Experience coordinating with JOPES users throughout the Joint Planning and Execution Community (JPEC) to ensure TPFDD databases are developed in compliance with CJCSM 3122 series (JOPES Volumes I through III) and other applicable directives.
Experience providing direction and training to subordinate command JOPES users on all aspects of administrative and technical matters dealing with JOPES databases and functionality with related systems.
Experience serving as an alternate Navy JOPES Functional Manager and be able to create and issue JOPES accounts, grant JOPES access privileges, grant JOPES roles, manage the Navy Time Phased Force Deployment Data Plan Identification (PID) series, and provide input on JOPES issues.
