You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Salary Range per Pay Band:
NT-04: $76,788 - $131,452
NT-05: $101,121 - $184,725
Duties
You will oversee the operational functions of the Performance Assessment Department (PAD), including the Secret Control Office (SCO) and Property Management Office (PMO).
You will ensure the meticulous maintenance of a strict chain of custody for all classified information and media managed within the department, encompassing its generation, reception, transmission, distribution, and destruction.
You will be responsible for the development and coordination of policies, procedures, and training initiatives related to the safeguarding of classified information and unclassified controlled information (CUI).
You will serve as the primary liaison with external entities, including the Command Security Division, Command Property Management, governmental agencies, military entities, academic institutions, and Department of Defense (DoD) contractors.
You will demonstrate knowledge of DoDM 5200.01 Vol 1-4, NAVSEAINST M-5510.1, NSWCORDIV M-5510.2E and other Navy and DoD Security Instructions.
You will demonstrate knowledge of NAVSEAINST 7320.1A, NSWCCORDIVINST 7322.1A and other Navy and DoD Property Management and Control Instructions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the NT-05 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing security program requirements to develop and implement plans and policies impacting the storage and handling of classified or unclassified information for a federal agency
For the NT-04 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing security program requirements to identify and resolve issues impacting the storage or handling of classified or unclassified information for a federal agency.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the NT-04 pay band only:
- Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
- Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR
- Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
