The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics Management Specialist directing, developing, implementing, executing or functioning as part of a logistics management operation involved in support of FMS items, systems, subsystems or equipment.
Duties
Serves as a senior specialist responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and monitoring the most difficult and complex cases in providing logistics management Total Package Offer (TPO) support for purchases, transfers, and leases of commodities, complex weapons systems, equipment, and support services.
. Identifies materiel, services, shipping requirements, and projected costs for systems life cycles.
Works with organizational counterparts to develop policy and procedures for case and other associated functions; assesses impact of proposed revisions and recommends policy and procedure changes as necessary.
Provides FMS program guidance to representatives of foreign countries and other DOD components and commands.
Engages in productive dialogue with multiple USG organizations, local Saudi officials, as well as RSAF and contract personnel; serves as liaison, providing KSA visitor support; maintains site activation team support; actively engaged in the identification and correction of program deficiencies; oversight of in-Kingdom support programs; and the management and tracking of corrective actions affecting in-Kingdom activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of basic theories and principles of systems design, specifications development techniques; and an understanding of acquisition and maintenance requirements as well as organizational functions involved in logistical support.
2. Knowledge of theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into a total, well structured, and viable program.
3. Knowledge of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, and acquisition.
4. Knowledge of contractual processes, procedures, and technical requirements.
5. Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use; to include the identification and correlation of specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals, identify support requirements (including funding, contract development, and other technical support requirements), and establish relationships between the participants involved in deploying the plan.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
