You will serve as the Joint Depot Maintenance Program Coordinator in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.
Duties
You will determine logistics support resources for maintenance planning, technical data, training, facilities, computer resources, or packaging requirements.
You will review logistics system management plan to recognize key aspects of logistics support (e.g., supply, maintenance, transportation, facilities).
You will resolve logistics management problems for an organization.
You will collaborate with senior logisticians to discuss issues associated with logistics policy and procedures to address assigned tasks.
You will write logistical data report to defend and support concepts or projects.
You will brief management on status, updates, or other logistics related information.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing navy depot programs in the areas of Depot Maintenance Inter-servicing (DMI), Depot Source of Repair (DSOR), industrial business assessment strategies and other Joint Depot Maintenance (JDM) Programs and initiatives; 2) Developing industrial maintenance and logistics policies, procedures, and programs;3) Collecting, confirming, reviewing, and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements, ranging from technical data, support equipment or test program sets, maintenance plans, facility requirements, manpower/workload, industrial and plant equipment requirements; 4) Interfacing with Flag Level personnel, Program Executive Officers, Program Managers, Assistant Program Managers (Logistics), COMFRC, NAVIP, Legal Counsel, other Service representatives, and private sector counterparts for the purpose of obtaining information, workload opinions, and legal interpretations; 5) Developing and facilitating briefs to decision makers on project or program status.
