You will serve as a Mission Support Specialist of RLSO NW BREMERTON, Detachment Hawaii.
Duties
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts to the Department.
You will greet visitors, process requests for appointments, receive and relay messages, and maintain professional decorum, neatness and cleanliness of all common areas in office suite.
You will answer incoming phone calls and inquiries from visitors, using utmost discretion in screening and referring calls/visitors to the appropriate staff member or attorney.
You will respond to routine and highly technical requests for information such as status reports, suspense dates for matters requiring regulatory compliance, and similar information readily available in files and databases.
You will independently control and manage all incoming correspondence using established office procedures and knowledge of the organization.
You will conduct initial quality assurance review of case/client files to ensure all documents are complete and meet all legal requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector equipping you with knowledge of administrative office practices and procedures related to the following: legal procedures, correspondence, maintaining records, files, mail and/or reports, utilizing databases, and customer service. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Responding to routine and highly technical requests for information; 2) Utilizing various databases to store, maintain, and track case files; 3) Preparing documents, filings, and case correspondence; 4) Researching, evaluating, and coordinating information to identify all relevant facts in a particular file; 5) Managing case filings and status updates for client files.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
OR
1 full year of graduate level education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
