About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Budget Analyst at the Space and Missile Defense Command - G8 in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Duties

Administering the program budget in preparation for the execution of funds. Provide guidance to personnel regarding justification of the organizational budget. Review budgetary documentation to ensure regulatory compliance with policies and procedures. Generate financial reports using automated web - based computer applications to prepare budget illustrations for briefings.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Obtain and/or maintain a secret clearance.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
• Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon employment and annually, IAW DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, 23 March 2006.
• TDY up to 10% required.
• THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 USC, section 1599d.
• Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
• This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position.
• Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
