You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Mission Systems Group, Logistics Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
This position supports PMA - 268 Program Office within PEO (U&W), as the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Control System Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics.
Duties
You will determine the best approach in planning and expending resources/funding to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture.
You will identify, plan and execute logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of total life cycle (i.e. acquisition and sustainment) are in place to meet program requirements.
You will prepare and/or deliver presentations to customers/stakeholders in order to address support posture and justify logistics requirements.
You will defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans to ensure program objectives are met.
You will maintain contact with technical and support personnel to enforce adherence to policies and specifications Financial Management.
You will assist in tracking and the management of cost and funding documentations including expenditures.
You will provide supporting data and develops tailored application of the elements of life-cycle coasting based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of integration of weapon system.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Demonstrating working knowledge of logistics management in support of aviation program and associated information systems; 2) Developing and implementing maintenance capability establishment to support maintenance concepts/requirements to achieve aviation program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost: 3) Providing logistics expertise and guidance to employees, management, and other program stakeholders to ensure that designed logistics support systems meet established supportability requirements and performance parameters; 4) Preparing and/or delivering presentations to customers/stakeholders in order to address support posture and justify logistics requirements; and 5) Assist in the development and management of contract requirements to support engineering/acquisition phases.
