About the Position: This is an Operations Officer position working with Martin Army Community Hospital, Troop Command, Fort Moore, GA.
This is an obligated position.
Duties
Serves as advisor to Commanders and staff on a variety of staff actions and assignments.
Conduct Concept Briefings, prepare/publish OPORD/DTO, In Process Reviews (IPRs) and After-Action Reviews (AARs).
Provide oversight of the Security Office ensuring compliance with Physical Security regulations and procedures.
Ensures that agency projects are managed properly and completed in a timely manner while monitoring continuity and quality of actions.
Completes projects and studies, which require knowledge of the major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations.
Coordinates exercises and training, assigns work through subordinate supervisors and is available to discuss problems and develop solutions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance with SCI access.
- Incumbent is required to sign a DA form 5019-R, and/or DA form 7412 "condition of employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the drug abuse testing program," or a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
- As a condition of employment, incumbent will be subject to periodic and random urinalysis drug testing.
- Required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime at unusual times (nights, holidays, and weekends).
- Position requires incumbent to perform TDY up to 25%.
- This position is designated as key in accordance with AR 690-11.
- This position is Emergency Essential in accordance with AR 690-11.
- TERM trial period of one year.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
