About the Position: Serves as the principal executive Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) and advisor to the Directorate Executive Office, Directors, and senior decision makers within the organization.
Duties
Manage the organization's suspense system for all suspenses, both internally and externally established.
Consolidate taskers, status and reports from Garrisons supported by ID-Sustainment.
Keep the lines of communication open, keeping the Operations/Plans Chief and ID-S Command Group advised on status of taskings within Installation Management Command Sustainment.
Manage actions and projects by determining where and who in the organization should be involved and assessing impact.
Serve as the Directorate Subject Matter Expert on tasking related procedures and technology, to include training all new personnel.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with staffing actions across a multi-tiered high level organization; reviewing and analyzing incoming tasks, determining the scope, and assigning responsibilities for task execution; experience with computer based data systems and programs to maintain, track, and prepare recommendations and/or reports for assigned areas. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
