You will serve as a Program Objective Memorandum Integration Section Program Analyst in the Plans, Policies, and Operations Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will provide critical, qualitative, analytical and systems support throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES) cycle on the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Section Head and other higher leadership personnel.
You will support the Program Objective Memorandum Integration Section in providing analysis and system support to the Plans, Policies and Operations Department, Divisions and Branches.
You will mentor uniformed members of the Marine Corps, civilian employees, and contractors on the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget related issues.
You will monitor both Marine Corps and Navy budgetary databases for both planned and unplanned changes to funding levels to programs.
You will lead and conduct reviews and analysis of programs and their changes through all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES) process.
You will provide a variety of analytical support such as analyzing and reviewing issue papers, conducting Cost-Benefit, Trend and Change analysis, as well as conduct background research on financial and programmatic issues.
You will conduct coordination and preparation of analytical, external reports for submission to higher authority
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrated experience with Marine Corps plans, policies, and related structure and the Planning Programming Budget and Execution (PPBE) process; ability to implement advanced analysis and data processing techniques to identify areas of programmatic improvement and present findings to higher leadership for further consideration/implementation.
