You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT, HRO LIAISON OFFICE (CODE 180A) of SUPSHIP.
Duties
You will serve as Position Management Coordinator, Command Human Resource Liaison, Total Workforce Management Services (TWMS) Administrator, and Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS) Administrator for Supervisor of Shipbuilding Newport News.
You will analyze human resource requirements and capabilities for current and projected workloads; track authorized and assigned workforce, keep management informed of workforce authorization issues.
You will prepare recruitment packages for internal and external recruitments including preparation of position description for classification.
You will be responsible for tracking and modifying the Command organizational manual and charts, establishing, assigning and tracking billet identification numbers, managing the Command Hiring Report, etc.
You will plan and conduct comprehensive analytical studies of available performance data, to develop, conduct and evaluate a trend analysis on metrics.
You will perform workforce utilization studies to determine span of control, staffing levels, and requirements; observe work operations and review overall workload data.
You will attend meetings with managers and supervisors to gather pertinent data and to assist managers in visualizing the tracking methodologies developed.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating program data or metrics to provide Human Resources advisory services to include Human Resource Development (HRD) or Staffing & Recruiting for an organization.
