About the Position: Serve as a Military Construction Analyst for USA ENGR & SPT CENTER, DIRECTORATE OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COST DIVISION, AUTOMATED SYSTEMS BRACH.
Duties
Assist with reviewing drafts of Army regulations and other policy guidance documents pertaining to the military construction planning and programming process and provides substantive commentary regarding existing automated techniques and procedures.
Work with senior staff to assist field user with questions regarding Systems functionality.
Assists with the coordination of all actions for the assigned functions of the 1391 Processor system with senior level program staff to support military construction worldwide to ensure proper orientation.
Assisting with providing guidance and direction for the development of training material, and approval of training material developed by contractors.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to travel 35% of the time.
- Required to submit a Confidential financial disclosure Report, OGE-450.
- One year probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting with administering computer-aided engineering initiatives that support military construction; assist in developing software application budgets; developing and providing briefings regarding software; assist with quality assurance of testing of software products. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
