You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES SHOPS of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will analyze Quality Performance System (QPS) data, deficiency reports, discrepancy Logs, audit action records, rework reports, and other inspection verification reports in support of process improvement programs.
You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and program effectiveness.
You will make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends.
You will coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives, as assigned, and coordinate department-level audit responses.
You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to analyze process performance data needed to evaluate various departmental programs.
You will facilitate critique investigations and prepare the associated shipyard and off- yard reports and process them through final distribution.
You will facilitate and guide members of the Critique Team to ensure thorough causal analysis and effective corrective actions are developed.
You will identify instances of non-compliance with established programs and make recommendations for the improvements in program performance based on analysis of quality performance data.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting studies of quality performance data; utilizing qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to identify adverse trends or deficiencies and recommend corrective actions for improving efficiency and effectiveness of work operations.
