You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION of NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND.

Duties

You will perform program analytics and data mining, creates data visualizations, and use data tools and infrastructure to support data-driven decisions. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on a wide variety of training data points to identify constraints and recommend mitigation strategies. You will serve as a subject matter expert and data analyst for training data management and training systems such as the Learning Management System (LMS). You will create and present briefings in O6/GS15 level forums. You will work independently with little supervision. You will perform analytical pattern detection and recommend solutions to complex problems. You will work as part of a team and deal with rapidly changing requirements.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing and providing advice regarding training data and training systems (e.g., Learning Management Systems (LMS)); 2) Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on a wide variety of training data points to identify constraints and recommend mitigation strategies; 3) Performing program analytics and data mining using data tools and infrastructure to support data-driven decisions; and 4) Functioning as part of a team to plan, present and evaluate assigned projects with rapidly changing requirements.
