Duties
You will provide Technical Manual/Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (TM/IETM) authoritative input, direction and advice for all program issues.
You will participate in the (TM/IETM) program development and design interface activities for support of new and modified systems.
You will develop Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) documentation for new acquisition and sustainment TM activities.
You will organize and chair a Technical Manuel Team (TMT) to support Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) and recurring TM/IETM development meetings.
You will review and approve changes to TM/IETM logistics documentation and processes.
You will approve standardized TM/IETM Software formats.
You will study failure and support problems of assigned TM/IETM systems and determines causes of problems.
You will continuously explore advance logistics/maintenance techniques and new technology for possible applications or integration into existing TM/IETM systems.
You will contribute to logistics product data division policy and processes to improve MAO team effectiveness and reduce total ownership cost.
You will review and approve TM/IETM program budget submissions.
You will act as the TM/IETM program logistics/maintenance planning and management representative at program reviews, contract reviews, briefings, budget hearings, etc.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating an understanding of Industry and Technical Data Manual specifications, acquisition and sustainment; Intellectual Property/data rights strategies, and data markings. 2) Providing Technical Manual/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (TM/IETM) authoritative input, direction and advice for all program TM/IETM; 3) Developing Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) documentation for new acquisition and sustainment TM activities.
