You will serve as a Management Analyst (Facilities Manager) in the Facilities Division, in the Command Operations Group, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC HQ) of Patuxent River, MD.
Duties
You will provide technical guidance and recommendations to the Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) regarding the maintenance of buildings occupied by personnel supporting COMFRC.
You will interact on a daily basis with senior installation, NAVAIR, NAVFAC and Army facilities managers and engineers.
You will lead the COMFRC Command Facilities Working Group and represent the Command at NAVAIR Space Board discussions.
You will work with the Director of Command Operations to plan and execute seating configuration throughout COMFRC spaces and maintain an up-to-date record in the Infrastructure Business Operations Navy Support (IBONs) system.
You will monitor the internal and external condition of COMFRC facilities (including parking lots) on a daily basis to identify and address any observed deficiencies.
You will be charged with inspecting COMFRC spaces to ensure the health and safety of personnel and be the principal point of contact for telephone and electrical technicians who require access to COMFRC spaces.
You will be responsible for payment of utility bills and maintain and execute a process for the disposal of unwanted furniture, electronics or hardware.
You will be responsible for responding to all repair and maintenance requests generated by COMFRC personnel.
You will coordinate with COMFRC and base Safety personnel to address any safety concerns personally observed or raised by employees or inspectors.
Requirements

- You will serve as the technical point of contact for any contract actions regarding the renovation or upkeep of COMFRC facilities, including cleaning service providers.
- You will be required to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting customers, identifying issues and replying to customers in a timely manner and proven ability to act independently with all levels of the workforce including executive leadership.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grace level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: In addition, to GS-11 qualifications, experience must demonstrate- Processing purchase orders; OR in administering personnel moves (e.g. furniture, IT and seating configuration); OR executing facility/infrastructure maintenance and improvements.
