You will serve as a Human Resource Specialist in the Human Resource Division within the Corporate Operations Department, for Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA) at Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Duties

You will provide products and support to maintain program compliance, supports positive labor management relations, and program awareness among internal customers. You will provide support on the merit and requirements for successfully initiating and effecting disciplinary and adverse actions You will develop and present briefs. You will assist in the coordination of recruiting and outreach activities at universities, veteran organizations, diversity and other events. You will consult with NAVSEALOGCEN HR team to evaluate and identify hiring needs and assist in developing strategies to meet hiring needs through recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

For NT-04: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing advice and guidance to management on human resources programs including labor relations, employee relations, and recruitment or workforce development in support of the command in maintaining and up to date and current human resource programs. For NT-03: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-02 (GS-5 through GS-8 grade level equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with providing advice and guidance to management on human resources programs including labor relations and employee relations, or recruitment and workforce development to support the command in maintaining up to date and current human resource programs. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For NT-04: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.;

Possession of an LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.

OR

For NT-03: Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree;

Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., in a field directly related to the position being filled.
