You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.

Duties

You will manage the budgets and assigned programs, ensuring for the Security Cooperation Training Program (SCTP). You will monitor the allowance computations and expenses allocated to a student by line item and to the applicable funded case. You will manage the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. You will reconciles expenditures funded by contracts for training in the United State

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) working with various DOD financial automated systems 2) reviewing and researching financial transactions and supporting documentation for contract, budget reconciliation, or similar purposes; 3) generating financial spreadsheets and reports for management review; 4) coordinating records and funding requirements in accordance with financial instructions and regulations. (Note: This experience must be clearly stated in your resume.) To qualify at the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) overseeing financial development, execution, reconciliation, and closure of Foreign Military Sales; 2) providing interpretation and advice on financial transactions execution; 3) interpreting and analyzing financial policies to determine impact on the organization's programs; 4) applying advance Appropriation Law and Financial Management Regulations. Education

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
