You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BUSINESS OPERATIONS BRANCH of PERS WASHINGTON.
Duties
You will develop user training for a wide base of financial management information system users
You will identify developmental and training needs of employees
You will determine the impact and effect of financial systems on organizational programs
You will analyze and evaluate financial data for program resources using the Department of Defense (DoD) Planning, Programming, Budgeting and
Execution (PPBE) system.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level 3 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assists the departmental Branch Head with planning work for accomplishment for subordinate supervisors, set and adjusts short-term priorities, prepares schedules with consideration of requirement and assignment difficulty such that the experience, training, and abilities of the staff are effectively utilized to meet organizational and customer needs. Identify need for change in the organizational priorities and takes action to implement such changes. 2) Assists the departmental Branch Head in establishing metrics and evaluates requirements for additional resources submitted by subordinate activities and balances organizational needs with overall mission requirements and resource interests. Prepare briefs for senior managers on budget, accounting and program execution review, analysis and appraisal of major operating and support programs within the organization. 3) Assists the departmental Branch Head with reviewing work and management techniques of subordinate supervisors and makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors. 4) Assists the departmental Branch Head in allocating portions of the execution year funding, reallocates resources within the organization, and acquires additional resources as needed. 5) Assists the departmental Branch Head in the development of program measures of current and future operations, review and interpret policy affecting program requirements, evaluate data, and identify and examine changes to program processes or procedures to improve financial effectiveness.
