TERM Appointment: This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 3 years position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. About the Position: Serve as Program Support Specialist responsible for administrative and operational aspects of agency program support to ensure mission goals and functions are accomplished.

Duties

Perform as the lead system operator for the command building access system Perform administrative tasks including records coordinator, initiating and processing in-house work orders, service orders, standard operating orders, and preventative maintenance job orders. Measure work accomplishments again management goals. Follow up on problems, resolves procedural problems, and ensure proper documentation is obtained and maintained. Track financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures and prepare routine reports to advise on funds availability.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights
• This is a Term position scheduled to last 3 years. A term position may be extended to a maximum of eight years depending upon the needs of management.
• This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
• You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Provide administrative and operational support for a variety of logistics projects; Prepare and synthesize data to provide briefings and draft reports; AND Prepare budget reports for review and analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. [remove LL.B or J.D., if unrelated] in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: [insert applicable field(s) of study]. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
