You will serve as a Financial management Analyst for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).
Duties
You will review audit findings to determine root causes of issues, create/monitor/execute Corrective Action Plans to remediate audit findings
You will lead process performer discussions to document as-is processes and implement audit compliant processes and control points, test design and effectiveness of implemented controls,
You will analyze and interpret financial data from multiple financial systems to identify issues and determine trends.
You will evaluate and identify accounting system deficiencies, policy issues to take or recommend corrective action.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level FMC02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Financial Management Analyst experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and reporting on financial data, participating in Audit Remediation initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and assessing impact of business processes and policy changes. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Collecting and mining logistical and financial data; 2)Evaluating operational, financial, and automated system deficiencies/problems to provide corrective action; 3)Performing problem definition, analysis, and recommendations; 4)Quantifying volume and dollar impact of policy changes; 5)Interpreting/documenting/implementing financial processes; and 6)Mining, analyzing, and interpreting financial and logistical data from multiple business systems to identify issues and determine trends
For GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Financial Management Analyst experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and reporting on financial data, participating in Audit Remediation initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and assessing impact of business processes and policy changes. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Collecting and mining logistical and financial data; 2)Evaluating operational, financial, and automated system deficiencies/problems to provide corrective action; 3)Performing problem definition, analysis, and recommendations; 4)Quantifying volume and dollar impact of policy changes; 5)Interpreting/documenting/implementing financial processes; and 6)Ability to handle large volumes of data, perform data analytics, and have a working knowledge of programming tools.
