Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (2) years by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years.
Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further competition.
Duties
Provides direct input and assistance into the development and execution of the DoD EC and AECW collective and individual training programs for pre and post deployment.
Advises on all aspects of policy, planning, review, and research related to all aspects of pre and post deployment training.
Serves as the AECW Organizational Inspection Program planner and manager, responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the conduct of the AECWs
Organizational Inspection Program.
Represents the directorate in actions involving training and training-related activities with subordinate commands, higher headquarters and DoD
Force Providers.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Qualifications
This position is a TERM position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.
Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE (2 Years) by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or temporary reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Assisting with optimizing training requirements in developing, planning, and implementing training processes; aiding in the development and execution of group and individual trainings; providing input on assigned training projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS- 11).
