Duties
Make recommendations with justification as to the value or disadvantage of changing existing methods, considering factors such as cost and increased efficiency of operations.
Provide advice to the Group Leader on matters related to analysis of logistical data through liaison with higher headquarters, other business centers, and other IMMC Product Line Executives and organizations.
Serve as a logistical data and systems analyst. Serve as a logistical data and systems analyst.
Analyze the organization's logistical performance based on information supplied by customers, performance metrics, review and analysis, and audits by outside agencies.
Assign work, provides technical advice and guidance, reviews work, evaluates quality and provides training to team members.
Requirements
- The duties of this position require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Resolving supply availability problems; AND (2) Analyzing major systems readiness and/or supply availability metrics; AND (3) Performing supply planning within automated logistics systems such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower band/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
