About the Position: Location is Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD working in the Communications and Electronics Command G1 Office.

Duties

Provide staff level advisory services to all levels within the command and its field installations/activities on specific and command-wide issues that impact labor and employee relations functions and programs. Conduct studies of current labor relations programs to provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of a program. Provide advisory services to management on performance appraisals to ensure compliance with the regulatory guidance. Advise managers on legal requirements involved in resolution of employee relations matters to ensure they are in compliance. Serve as Senior Staff Action Officer on special projects and complex studies to develop and evaluate proposals and initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Command HRM performance. Develop, interpret, and analyze data extracts and/or reports from automated HR databases and develops the most efficient and effective automated systems approaches for presenting HR reports and graphics for management.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret Clearance T-3.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
