What will I do in this position if hired? In this Program Analyst position, you will serve as a Data Specialist within the Recovery Division of Region 8. This organization delivers disaster recovery assistance to the six States and 29 Tribes served by Region 8. One of the key functions of the Recovery Division is to support the ability of the regional office, and the States and Tribal Nations served by Region 8, to fulfill their roles and responsibilities in the process for requesting Stafford Act declarations of emergencies or major disasters. The Data Specialist dedicates most of their time to disaster declaration processing. This position has three primary areas of day-to-day task responsibility:
