You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT) in the COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE, Hawaii.
Duties
You will ensure HRO Hawaii's workforce development and succession management goals are met.
You will facilitate the advancement of the talent and initiative of a highly capable, diverse workforce through training, career planning, and career and professional development.
You will use study results to prepare the HRO's Annual Training plan.
You will evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of training and data, methods for process improvement and innovation, and potential deficiencies of assigned programs.
You will be responsible for facilitating, hosting, and scheduling required training (i.e. Supervisory training, retirement briefings, etc).
You will develop instructions, guidance and processes as assigned.
You will provide metrics and recommendations on how to improve training and development processes within the programs you oversee.
You will perform other duties, as assigned.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: planning, evaluating, or advising management on programs designed to develop employees and manage learning in a Human Resource organization; and analyzing and reporting data trends of program effectiveness in support of workforce development.
