Duties
Serves as the Workforce Development Technical Director and advisor to MILDEP and Business Manager Director
Supervises senior specialists -related duties in the following programmatic areas: leader development, workforce development, professional development, curriculum development, human capital policy, knowledge sharing and workforce investment.
Provides expert advice on professional education, training, development, developmental assignments, and certification for workforce within the Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA).
The incumbent oversees the planning, direction, and execution of the Human Capital training budget based on approved training and deliberate development requirements.
Responsible for the review and management of training programs
Provides leadership and expertise in managing agency-wide programs covering the disciplines of the professional development of the workforce, integrating information into the implementation and management of key Agency programs.

- This position requires occasional Temporary Duty Travel (TDY)

Specialized Experience Required:
One year of specialized experience which includes
Providing guidance and recommendations for acquiring, developing, and retaining a civilian and military acquisition workforce.
Preparing and implementing plans, policies, and procedures in support of talent management.
Identifying developmental and training needs of civilian employees and providing arrangements for developmental or training needs.
Engaging senior leaders and other organizations to identify future workforce skill and educational needs.
