About the Position: This position is located in the Budget and Accounting Branch of the Resource Management Office on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Duties

Act as Budget POC for assigned Garrison account actions to include pay and non-pay. Ensure funds are available and ensure accuracy of accounting codes in order to monitor the transactions within the General Fund Enterprise Business System. Analyze program tendencies and spending trends. Prepare Command Budget Execution data for various elements of resource. Prepare outgoing Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests to support the Garrison requirements.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires a Secret security clearance.
• Position requires incumbent to obtain a Financial Management Level 2 Certification within two-years of employment.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
